Theoretical and Methodological Framework

months: 1-8

The first stage of the research will be devoted to the development of the theoretical and methodological framework that will be applied later in the analysis and evaluation of the multi-stakeholder partnership in post-conflict settings. This first stage will last from month 1 to month 8 and will be structured in two work packages, WP 2 and WP 3. Although separated, the research within these work packages will be conducted mostly in parallel and will follow a cyclical model: the preliminary results of the WP2 will be transferred (at the third month) to the WP3, tasked with the development of the proper methodology for the analysis and evaluation of multi-stakeholder partnership in post-conflict settings. Then, preliminary results from WP 3 will be in their turn passed on to WP2 for the validation, and so on throughout the entire duration of this first stage. This methodology will allow the constant exchange of information and knowledge among the researchers and the consistent cross-fertilization of the results.

The results of WP 2 and WP 3 will be summarised in two publications: a working paper on the research theoretical foundations (deliverable D 2.1) and a working paper on the methodological framework applicable in the analysis of multi-stakeholder partnership in post-conflict setting (deliverable D 3.1).
