MULTIPART ROUNDTABLE CONCEPT NOTE (click to download)

Since the launch of MultiPart in 2008 partners have been conducting research of multi-stakeholder partnership in four sectors:

(a) security; (b) economic and social development; (c) democracy, good governance and rule of law; and (d) confidence building.

The project has based its empirical investigation on three case studies of core political interest to the EU today: Kosovo, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Afghanistan. Multipart established direct collaboration with local partners, namely the University of Pristina (Kosovo), POLE institute (DRC) and Kabul University (Afghanistan).

The work shop marks the third and last phase of the MultiPart research project. It serves to present and discuss the findings of the three case studies and to give practical steps forward for the EU.
